Although we should say thank you all the time, we don't necessarily do it quite as often as we should. We get caught up in the momentum of the moment and the day, and we may nod or mumble "thanks", but do we really mean it deep down?
Try taking a moment to look someone in the eyes and "really" say thank you to the next person who holds the door open for you, or say thank you to the person who offers to let you go ahead of them, or to the person who does somethng unexpected. Now is the time that we should all take a few moments to say thank you to someone we might not always take the time to thank. Think about the people who do the little things around your office, that might not come into daily contact with you, but who make such a huge difference in your life. Leave a note for the person that cleans the offices in the dark of night and makes it so that you can come back to a fresh environment each day.
And while we are at it, how about saying thank you to our family members and our friends and all of those people who do so much for us thoughtout the year to make our lives just a little bit better each day.
So, I say "thank you" for taking the time to read this and wish you a very happy holiday season.
